
Booking Conditions
- Upon your confirmation, we forward you by e-mail a copy of the Greek contract, a charter payment analysis and a crew list form.
- You required signing and sending to us a copy of the Greek contract with client’s address and a passport number. Also, (5) copies are kept on our base before embarkation for Port Authorities procedures.
- A 50% deposit of the charter fee is required upon signing the contract. The remaining balance of 50% is required four (4) weeks prior to embarkation to our bank account.
Included in the price:
Full equipped charter yacht, as per our specifications.
Light quilts, Bed linen and towels (1 set/person/week).
V.A.T.
Yacht's marine insurance.
Not included in the price:
Fuel / Water.
The boat will be delivered with full diesel fuel and fresh water tanks.
On redelivery will have to return the boat in the same condition or, pay for any differences.
Harbour/marina fees, except the first and the last day of the charter contract in our home base.
Food provision.
End Cleaning € 25/cabin, payable on spot in cash.
Free of charge:
Autopilot and dinghy with outboard engine.
Security deposit policy:
Our company requires a Security Deposit on all our yacht charters.
Refundable damage deposit:
With credit card, (Visa or Master) authorization.
The refundable deposit covers any loss or accident to the yacht, the equipment or third party, whether through negligence or malicious intent; it also covers the cost of re-delivering the yacht to the agreed disembarkation port, date and time, according to the signed charter party.
The refundable deposit will be refunded at the end of the charter, provided no delay or damage/loss of the yacht has occurred in excess of the aforementioned amount.
Check-in & check-out procedures:
Saturday -Saturday 17:00-09:00 hrs. As per company’s policy, the yacht should return to our base the day before on Friday, the latest 18:00hrs for the check out procedures.
Check-in procedure (embarkation) is normally fixed at 17:00. However we can be flexible if necessary. The yacht will be ready upon client's arrival. A staff member will demonstrate and clarify boat's features and will obtain departure permission from port authorities. Check-in procedure takes approx. 2 hours and consists of boat's technical orientation, map orientation, sails operation, inventory check and itinerary information.
Check-out procedure (disembarkation) is normally fixed at 09:00. Procedure takes place upon client's return to the base. A staff member will check the boat in order to make sure that it is returned in the same condition as it was delivered to the client. Security deposit will be refunded, less any deductions; if damages have been caused. Boat must be returned with full fuel and water tanks as it was delivered to the client. Check out procedure takes less than an hour. A late return of the boat will cause a penalty charge and liability for all recovery costs.
Sailing license requirement:
It is a requirement of Greek Port authorities that one crew member in your party hold sailing certificates from recognised authorities. The minimum standard is either RYA Day Skipper Practical Course Completion Certificate, an ICC (International Helmsman's Certificate of Competence) or any international equivalent.
The co-skipper’s experience can be declared by completing a declaration form attesting to previous sailing experience.
If two crew members do not have these qualifications, you will be required to hire a skipper for the full duration of your holiday. This original sailing license (not a copy) must be presented to the port authorities during the embarkation. Requirements for chartering in Greece a "Bareboat yacht with skipper by the agent".
Only one crew member with a sailing license, or a letter from a sailing club, or signing a declaration proving sailing experience is required.
Cancellation policy:
- For bookings cancelled more than 60 days prior to embarkation, 30% of the total charter fee.
- For bookings cancelled between 59 and 31 days prior to embarkation, 50% of the total charter fee.
- For bookings cancelled less than 30 days prior to embarkation, 100% of the total charter fee.
Payment conditions:
A 50% deposit of the charter fee is required upon signing the contract. The remaining balance of 50% is required four (4) weeks prior to embarkation. In the case that the reservation is made within four (4) weeks from the scheduled departure date, the total charter fee should be paid on the day of reservation.

Insurance:
All our professional charter boats are insured against damage to hull, gear, and machinery as well as for third party liability (doesn't cover your personal belongings and injuries) and equipment in excess of the Refundable or the Non Refundable deposit as mentioned here above. The charter includes full insurance cover of the vessel, the crew and any accidents caused directly by the negligence of the skipper or the crew or by the defects in the vessel. Charterers must arrange their own insurance coverage covering the activities they intend to undertake.
